A bike ride around the world

In the spring of 2016, Olivia Cuenca and I set out to ride our bicycles around the world. Over the course of 18 months, we cycled across 26 countries—spending four months in the Himalayas, climbing above 17,500 feet countless times, dined with monks in Korea, learning Spanish in South America, and pushing our bikes through snowstorms in Kyrgyzstan. We laid eyes on seven of the world’s ten highest peaks and were even chased from our campsite by water buffalo in Laos. It was, in every sense, a good old-fashioned adventure.

Pacific Crest Trail

In 2014 Travis Barron and I hiked from Mexico to Canada and and made a film about it. Together we directed, filmed and edited Do More With less, a feature length documentary about hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. We interviewed over 100 people on our journey.

Appalachian Trail

Fresh out of college, I set out to hike the Appalachian Trail, a 2,187-mile journey from Georgia to Maine. Over six months of living in the woods, I documented the experience through an adventure blog, sharing photographs and stories from the trail along the way.
