DO MORE WITH LESS
A CONVERSATION ABOUT
THE PACIFIC CREST TRAIL
Do More With Less is a feature length documentary narrated by over 100 people hiking from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail. Throughout the 2,660 miles and endless challenges the community talks about hiking, abandoning the grid, and how to live an adventurous lifestyle.
PACIFIC CREST TRAIL
Fresh out of university with 3 internships under my belt I set off to thru hike the Appalachian Trail. While living in the woods for six months I hiked 2,187 miles from Georgia to Maine and kept an adventure blog where I posted photos from the journey. I fell in love with hiking, the culture, trail life and traveling. After finishing that hike I realized there was a story to be told about hikers and I could see there was potential for a project.
APPALACHIAN TRAIL
One year later I took off with Travis Barron to hike the Pacific Crest Trail and make a film about it. Together we directed, filmed and edited Do More With less. We interviewed over 100 people who were migrating across the country, we walked the entire west coast, we hitchhiked countless times, we were invited into the homes of strangers, we climbed the highest peak in the country, we trudged though 700 miles of desert, and were soaked by days of rain in the Pacific Northwest.
